The classic tale of Jack and the Beanstalk is given a new lease of life with this smart adaptation. This is an excellent demonstration of how a movie of this type should be made. Great visual and sound FX and good fun for the whole family.

Nicholas Hoult was a very busy actor in 2013 with some well chosen films and great performances and this one is no exception.
