An overlong TV movie that does nothing but try to distract from the devastation about to be caused by the first use of the atomic bomb. The characterisations, based on real people, were a mixture of dramatised fiction and real insight into the stresses of keeping such a mission a secret. Watched this one because of Billy Crystal's involvement, but he does nothing to lift this film out of the depths.
