A disgraced former Presidential guard finds himself trapped inside the White House in the wake of a terrorist attack.

A standard, but enjoable action movie. You could probably make up the storyline in your head as you read this because it is very obvious. The film tries to be current avoiding Russia and the Middle east, favouring terrorists from North Korea instead. The action is sometimes 'edge of your seat' stuff but is let down when everything you expect to happen in the storyline does happen. There is the usual tough president. a child and flawed hero. Although we are treated to some back story about what happened between the central character and the president, there is very little depth to either. Even the presence of Morgan Freeman does not lift this film above an average action film.

After all the negatives, the film is still watchable if you are not looking for anything too deep.
